Antique Store Opens On Paola Park Square
Kathy and Mitch Mastalsz’s house finally got too full of antiques they had to find a way to downsize, so they opened Nutcracker Sweet Antiques and Decor in Paola.
Kathy, who ran a gift store in the historic district of Savannah, Ga., for many years, said she has always wanted to open an antiques store. She started collecting many pieces for Gingerbread Bed and Breakfast, which the couple ran out of their home for some time, and that gave her a good start for the store. Nutcracker Sweet will take antiques on consignment, Kathy added, and she plans to add new items every day.
