Archipelago to Receive Industry Achievement Award

Gift for Life, the gift, stationery and home decor industries’ leading charitable organization, announced today that Archipelago and its co-owners, Gregg Corzine and David Klass, will be honored with the Gift For Life Industry Achievement Award during the Gifts & Decorative Accessories 61st Annual Retailer Excellence Awards, taking place on Sunday, August 19, 2013, in New York City.

Gregg Corzine and David Klass launched Archipelago Botanicals in 1998 with the mission of creating natural fragrance, bath and wellness products to help people relax and take a break from their busy lives. Today, this Los Angeles-based company has evolved from operating out of a garage, to becoming one of the fastest-growing, best-selling brands of luxury bath, body and aromatherapy products. Its product line has grown to include soy candles, scented diffusers, natural-based personal-care items, room sprays and much more. The name Archipelago – which means a large chain or group of islands – speaks to the brand’s quest to seek out and offer pampering products that feature the finest ingredients, essential oils and spa rituals from around the world. All Archipelago products are handmade in the USA and can be found atmore than 5,000 specialty boutiques nationwide.

“We are honored to be a part of the Gift for Life program,” says Corzine. “It’s amazing to see what a difference a community can make when great minds and kind hearts are all aligned. The result and the community continue to astound me.”

“Archipelago’s mission of offering quality products that create comfort and offer care makes them worthy recipients of this honor,” said Stuart Teller, chair of the Gift for Life board. “We are proud to present the 2013 Gift For Life Industry Achievement Honor to such an innovative company and its generous founders.”
