Artisan Jewelry Showcase Debuts At Summer 2011 NYIGF

WHITE PLAINS, NY, A collection of some 30 on-trend, handmade jewelry resources – representing a wide range of media, style and price point – will be featured within a new Artisan Jewelry Showcase debuting in the New York’s Newestdivision during the summer 2011 New York International Gift Fair® (NYIGF®).

“There’s been an overwhelming demand from quality jewelry designers to join NYIGF, and this concentration of new artisanal resources will be a perfect complement to the broad range of product offerings within New York’s Newest,” said Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF director and GLM senior vice president. To date, nearly 20 Artisan Jewelry Showcase exhibitors are confirmed. Participants include: Alana Douvros Jewelry (bold pieces inspired by Greek and Egyptian cultures); Anna Balkan Jewelry (jewelry with semi-precious gemstones and pearls); Beads by Betina (pearl and beaded pieces); Blue Bus Studio (porcelain jewelry); Chibi Jewels (woven and beaded pieces with ethnic references); Christine Vasan Inc. (jewelry inspired by flora and fauna); Foundling (pieces made from vintage fabric); Garden of Silver (botanical inspired metal and glass); Hayden Brook Studios (coordinated lines of dichroic fused glass pieces);Jessica DeCarlo (hammered metals and gems); Kara Ackerman Design (personalized charms, cuff links and money clips); Kiku Handmade (fu sed glass accessories); Moonbox Studio (romance and nature-inspired sterling and gold pieces with stones and gems); Night Fox Jewelry (gold, platinum and silver jewelry with enamel accents); NuArt Jewelry LLC (wire work and beaded collections); Sabo Designs (botanical jewelry in sterling silver and bronze); Sea of Glass Studio (dichroic glass jewelry); Spruce Jewelry (seasonal modern collections of necklaces and earrings); and Studio DeLucca (modern metal and gem jewelry).
