Branson Keeps Providing New Places To Shop
Officially, friends Debbie Shrewsberry and Michelle Nickerson of Illinois, Gay Williams of Colorado and Sheryl French of Mississippi were in Branson for a conference.
Unofficially, they were there to “Shop, shop, shop, shop,” each woman said when asked how she planned to spend her free time.
Branson has three outlet shopping malls with more than 200 stores.
There are new stores opening all the time, said Jamie Whiteis, general manager of Tanger Outlet, which boasts 65-plus stores.
Esprit will open this month, Christopher & Banks is slated to open in mid-July and a Loft outlet opened last month at Tanger, he said.
