Holiday, floral, home and gift take lead roles in AmericasMart’s vast product mix when the retail and design community convenes in Atlanta to discover the top global product trends at the Atlanta Spring Gift, Home Furnishings & Holiday Market® March 7 – 9, 2014.
The Market allows buyers another opportunity to explore AmericasMart’s comprehensive permanent collections and shop a unique assortment of temporary exhibits, many of which show exclusively at the spring and fall markets.
The temporary collections feature an expertly curated collection of holiday and floral, gift, home accents and immediate resource merchandise. Highlighting the Market are TMI Giftspresenting expansive a collection of holiday items and gifts; Black Black Moon showcasing unique handmade jewelry; and new exhibitor Grandiflora presenting limited quantity,thoughtfully crafted artisan home decor and entertaining pieces. The Market’s scope allows it to showcase up-and-coming and artisan lines, many of which become industry trend makers. International sensation Elf on the Shelf launched as a March Market temporary exhibitor and to date, has sold more than 6 million copies in North America.
The Market’s timing also allows buyers to complete holiday décor item orders before manufacturers’ deadlines. AmericasMart’s five permanent Holiday & Floral/Home Décor floors feature new showrooms Katherine’s Collection, Noelle Enterprises, Shandong Neon King Electronics Co, Ltd, Wholesale Glass Vases International, Brite Ideas Decorating, Goldenbridge Arts & Crafts and Dekorasyon Gifts, and expanded and redesigned showrooms G. Debrekht, Seasons Designs International, Larksilk, D. Stevens, Vintage Floral, Farrisilk and Option 2 alongside longtime industry leaders. Market attendees also receive free admission to The Great American Bargain Book Show (GABBS), taking place concurrently. · “Dining with ‘The Angry Chef’” presented by Chef Ron Eyester of Rosebud, The Family Dog and Timones. Known for his alter ego “The Angry Chef” on Twitter, Chef Eyester whips up tasty dishes from his popular Morningside Atlanta restaurants. Saturday, March 8. Noon. Building 2, Floor 8, Demonstration Kitchen.
· “Seasonally Decorated: Floral Demonstration” presented by Alvin Moore of Alvin Moore Florals. Moore teaches how to keep stores updated with arrangements for every season and how to use those arrangements as a tool for upselling. Saturday, March 8. 2 p.m. Building 1, Floor 19, Seminar Room.
