California Market Center Announces New June and August Start Date For SELECT and TRANSIT Shows

SELECT Contemporary Tradeshow and TRANSIT Footwear & Accessories Show, presented in conjunction with every LA Fashion Market at the California Market Center (CMC), will take place Monday–Wednesday, June 9–11, 2014 during the Fall II/Holiday ’14 Market, and Monday–Wednesday, August 4–6, 2014 during the Holiday/Resort ’14 Market.

For both June and August Shows, SELECT Contemporary Tradeshow will be held in the Fashion Theater located in the Main Lobby of the CMC from 9a-5p Monday and Tuesday, and 9a-4p Wednesday; meanwhile, TRANSIT Footwear & Accessories Show will be running concurrently, in the B wing of the 13th Floor Penthouse, from 10a-5p Monday and Tuesday, and 10a-4p Wednesday. Oscar Ben Rodriguez, Senior Trade Shows Manager at the CMC, explains the decision to go back to a Monday start date. “Due to a busy show schedule in June and August for both buyers and exhibitors, we decided to move our dates forward to facilitate their participation,” says Rodriguez.
