Cash Mob Invades Wayne and Helps Out Local Business
Wayne, PA – The cash mob came to Wayne this week and they might be coming to a town near you soon.
Thursday evening a small mob of shoppers loaded with cash came to the Bark Avenue Boutique, 107 N. Aberdeen Ave., in an effort to find new ways to support local business.
They were from Cash Mob Philly, a new idea to randomly help local businesses with what they need most – customers.
Cash Mob Philly takes the idea of the flash mob that became popular a few years ago, sending out notices by way of text messages, Twitter and Facebook for people to show up and support a local retailer.
