Cerno’s Modern LED Light Fixtures Return to NYIGF

LED lighting manufacturer, Cerno, continues to gain momentum and heads back to the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF) to exhibit their current line of modern LED light fixtures. Located at booth 3865 in the Accent on Design section of NYIGF from January 29 – February 2 at the Javits Convention Center.

Cerno recently introduced their first two large linear pendants. Bret Englander, Co-Founder and Director of Sales and Marketing, exuded excitement when discussing Cerno’s redirected focus. “We continue to design what we want to see realized, but with a better understanding of our client’s needs, which helps focus our creativity toward satisfying voids in the market,” said Englander. Cerno recently introduced the Aeris, a 54″ linear pendant, which was designed in collaboration with New York based, Frank Carfaro of Desiron. In addition to the Aeris, Cerno introduced the Arca, a sculptural linear pendant that is large but not massive. “Both the Arca and Aeris are perfect examples of us designing for what we believe to be an under served segment of the market.”

Finding quality products designed and manufactured in the United States is not a simple feat. Cerno is proud to be manufacturing all of their products in the three founder’s home town of Laguna Beach, California. Nick Sheridan, Co-Founder and Director of Design, speaks to his passion for Cerno’s process. “Designing and manufacturing everything under one roof facilitates nothing being lost or compromised during the development process, which is demonstrated by the integrity and functionality of all our products,” said Sheridan. “We would not be able to execute the same level of craftsmanship if there was distance between us and the manufacturing.”

NYIGF is the first trade show in six months that all three company founders will be attending. Daniel Wacholder, Co-founder and Director of Engineering, expressed his excitement about reengaging with the customers and end-users. Wacholder explains the importance of experiencing the customer interacting with the product. “Trade shows are an invaluable way to watch people respond to the product, and listen to their visceral reactions,” said Wacholder. “We value this experience and try learn from the informed attendees that we speak with.”
