2009 CHA Winter Show: Turn Your Passion Into Profit!
(ELMWOOD PARK, NJ) – The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) announces that two-time Emmy award winner and crafting enthusiast Deborah Norville will be the keynote speaker at the 2009 CHA Winter Convention & Trade Show.
In her presentation entitled Turn Your Passion Into Profit! Using the Power of Positive Thinking to Reach Your Goals, Norville will share her lifelong love and passion for crafting and stories of a rich family history that passed on valued skills and crafting traditions to the next generation. Deborah will also discuss the importance of using gratitude to move closer to achieving personal and professional goals during challenging economic times.
Norville will address the CHA membership on Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Immediately following the presentation Deborah will be signing books at the Barnes & Noble bookstore at the Convention Center.
As part of her presentation, Deborah will impart her wisdom and expertise from her years as a professional journalist, media figure, and mother. Norville has spent more than a decade anchoring the nation’s longest running and top-rated syndicated newsmagazine, Inside Edition. She is a bestselling author of several books, including the motivational memoir Thank You Power: Making the Science of Gratitude Work for You, as well as two children’s books, I Don’t Want To Sleep Tonight and I Can Fly. In addition to appearing as the show’s keynote Norville will also debut her line of knitting yarn, The Deborah Norville Collection, at the CHA Winter Show.

As the largest trade show for the craft and hobby industry, over 15,000 craft retailers are expected at the CHA Winter Show to check out the latest products and industry trends. The Winter Show is the buying event of the year, with 96% of buyers purchasing products as a direct result of the Show. Approximately 20% of attendees are from more than 60 different countries, making the show a truly international event.
