Christmas Tree Shops opens Dallas store
Dallas, TX – Dedicated shoppers, take note. Christmas Tree Shops, one of New England’s most coveted shopping destinations, recently brought its wares – and its unbeatable bargains – to Dallas.
Despite the name, the store’s offerings are hardly limited to holiday merchandise. The 40,000-square-foot North Dallas store stocks a constantly changing array of home furnishings, housewares, food, gifts, paper goods, seasonal products and more.
The original Christmas Tree Shop opened in 1970 as a Christmas gift shop on Cape Cod. It has since evolved into a year-round shopping source, but the label stuck.
“It’s been our history,” said Michelle Watkins, marketing manager for the stores. “The goal was for customers to walk in and feel like it’s Christmas morning. A lot of the merchandise is our own design, plus there are a lot of famous brands, and we carry a lot of closeout merchandise. Our customers just come in and start filling their carts.”
Now, for instance, the store’s inventory includes harvest-theme items and Halloween merchandise.
