Country Ladies Gift Shop Marks 10 Years
Ashville – If you like homemade, handcrafted items, than you probably know about Country Ladies Gift Shop on Hadley Bay Road along Route 394 in Ashville.
However, did you know it is the business’ 10-year anniversary?
From now until Sept. 3, the shop will be celebrating its birthday of selling homemade, handcrafted items from 42 different consignment vendors. Vicki Kanouff, Country Ladies Gift Shop owner, said the vendors range in all different age groups, with some being from the local area and others being from Buffalo, Ohio and Virginia.
The business sells kitchen crafts, wall hangings, candles, towels and many other crafts. The shop even has specific areas for specialized items like Christmas decorations, wooden toys and a patriotic wall full of American flags.
Seeing the customers – locals or tourists – is Ms. Kanouff’s favorite part of owning the business.
