Dallas Market Center hosts smart home panel discussion

Dallas Market Center will host a panel discussion with the grand opening of the first smart home showroom in North America, Smarter Living by Design. The panel takes place on Thursday, June 20 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in Light + Design On Ten in World Trade Center, space 10085-11, during the June Total Home & Gift Market, which runs June 19-25, 2019.

The panel of experts will explore home design’s increasing emphasis on the features that enhance customers’ lives and aesthetics that are appealing to the consumer, including technologies that provide new conveniences clients are requesting — or may not even know exist yet.

Leslie Carothers, marketing expert to the home and design industries, will moderate a panel of leading smart home brands and a custom integrator to discuss emerging technologies impacting and adding value to interiors, as well as the opportunities they represent for designers and retailers. Panelists will include Anastasia Davis, Crestron; Bryan Cruikshank, HomeTronics; and Scott Cohen, Samsung.

Smarter Living by Design is a new, open-daily showcase for leading technology for residential, commercial and hospitality projects from 13 companies from around the world. The selection of best-in-class brands spanning home technology categories include premier lighting, sound and appliances to artificial intelligence. The showcase will be the first to unite advanced technology from Europe, Asia, and the U.S. in order to demonstrate how technology can seamlessly and stylishly integrate into the modern home.

Smarter Living by Design will be open daily inside Light + Design on Ten in the World Trade Center. The showroom is fully staffed and able to facilitate ordering of products and installation services as needed.
