Dallas Design Supply Celebrates Grand Opening During June Market

Dallas, TX – Dallas Market Center, the world’s most complete wholesale marketplace, today announced the opening of its newest resource, Dallas Design Supply. The store is a 20,000-square-foot resource for seasonal décor, floral containers and supplies, candles, ribbon, party supplies and permanent botanicals on the campus of Dallas Market Center.

“We have added even more resources with the arrival of Dallas Design Supply, which offers merchandise from many of our exhibitors in an off-the-shelf buying environment,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center.

The Dallas Design Supply customer base includes retailers, design professionals (florists, event planners, designers, and visual merchandisers) and qualified consumers such as charity organizers and educators. These diverse groups share a common challenge: to present the most innovative displays or stage the perfect event. At Dallas Design Supply, they will find a world of ideas within easy reach, under one roof, as well as supplies needed to bring creative visions to life that are available for immediate purchase.

“Many designers, event planners, and florists cannot buy six to 10 months in advance, as retailers typically do,” said Jane R. Robertson, EVP of marketing, Dallas Market Center. “These customers are eagerly awaiting the immediate availability of products via Dallas Design Supply.”

Patricia S. Hoffman, general manager of Dallas Design Supply, found virtually all of the store’s seasonal décor, display essentials, and floral and party supplies in showrooms and temporary exhibits at Dallas Market Center. “By bringing merchandise to our customers in an inspiring, expertly merchandised setting,” she said, “we make it unnecessary to look elsewhere. Dallas Design Supply is one-stop shopping for design professionals.”

A division of Market Center Management Company, Dallas Design Supply has an exterior entry and dedicated parking on the east side of the Dallas Market Center’s International Trade Plaza. For more information including hours of operation, visit www.dallasdesignsupply.com.
