Dani Natural Products Introduces Corn-Based Packaging For New Product; Continues Commitment to Sustainability

Bend, Oregon – DANI Natural Products announced today the launch of a new product line – The Eco. The Eco pure soy candle and natural reed diffuser will be sold in clear containers made from natural and renewable sources. The package for this new product line is the corn-based alternative to plastic, NatureWorks PLA. The Eco container is biodegradable and compostable, and easily disintegrates into water, carbon dioxide and organic material. To the knowledge of the company, this is the first time a soy candle or reed diffuser has ever been packaged in a corn-based alternative to plastic.

Why Soy?

DANI creates soy wax candles because soybeans are a completely renewable resource, and can be used for so many different products. And unlike traditional paraffin wax, soy wax is 100% biodegradable and toxin-free. Soy wax also burns longer and more consistently, and cleans up with soap and water. Soy wax also burns soot-free, so it won’t blacken the candle glass or a wall, and won’t emit toxic chemicals into homes.

Natural Fragrance Diffusers

DANI’s natural diffusers offer a unique, flame-free way to slowly diffuse all-natural fragrances throughout an entire room. The natural reeds will soak up the essential oil blend and allow it to evaporate slowly and naturally into the air. The oil will continue to infuse the reeds and scent rooms for several months.

In addition to the new box, every element of the DANI Eco candle is recyclable, from the glass to the brushed aluminum lid to the cotton wick. And because DANI products are all-natural and toxin-free, the glass from the candle and reed diffusers can be rinsed out with soap and water and re-used as drinking glass or bud vase.
