Darice, Inc. Acquires Locker Decorations Creator LockerLookz

Darice, Inc. has acquired LockerLookz, the leader in creative locker decorations, for an undisclosed sum. LockerLookz helped to create the trend for teens and pre‐teens to express themselves with fashionable but temporary locker decorations.

LockerLookz was founded just three short years ago when JoAnn Brewer and Christi Sterling started helping their teenage daughters look for fun locker decorating ideas. A lack of exciting, easy‐to‐use options led JoAnn and Christi to develop the LockerLookz product line. The mix‐ and‐match locker decorations available from LockerLookz include chandeliers, bins, mirrors, shag rugs, message boards and wallpaper.

Interest in locker decorations continues to grow, and LockerLookz recently began to experience challenges in satisfying the increased demand. Enter Darice, a well‐established craft wholesale distributor that will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2014.
