Dayton, OH – Briana Snyder’s passion for event and party planning has blossomed into a new business venture in downtown Dayton.

The University of Dayton graduate recently opened a unique store called Confetti at 42 W. 5th St. that offers products and services that Snyder felt were missing from the downtown landscape. She took advantage of the the Activated Spaces Pop-up Project run by the Greater Downtown Dayton Plan, which matches business owners and entrepreneurs who want to try out a business concept with downtown property owners who have first-floor storefront space available for occupancy.

“For a couple years, I would wish there was a place downtown to get a greeting card or some nice wrapping paper,” said Snyder, who has been a wedding photographer for past six years. “I knew about the Pop-Up Shop program from some of the other shops and decided that I’ve been saying for long enough how this should exist, so I should be the one to do it.”
