DEMDACO announces 2015 Lift the Spirit Retailer Awards

DEMDACO, the Leawood, Kansas-based wholesale distribution firm specializing in gift and home décor products, is pleased to announce the winners of the 3^rd Annual Lift the Spirit awards. The Lift the Spirit awards are presented to a retailer in each sales region who demonstrates alignment with the DEMDACO business mission to lift the spirit of others. Account executives from the DEMDACO sales team nominate retailers to be considered for the awards and the DEMDACO Customer Care department selects winners. Retailers’ involvement in their local communities is an important consideration in the selection process.

In addition to the honor and recognition received by each retailer, DEMDACO will make a financial donation to an organization selected by the winning retailer to help provide further support to his or her community.

Charity selected: Imagination Library Fund, Hancock Co Community Foundation

South Central region retailer: Gene Allen’s Gifts, Arlington, Texas

Charity selected: SafeHaven of Tarrant County

West region retailer: Henry Smith Gifts, Silverton, Colorado

Charity selected: St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Missions to Support Ersa, adoptive family in New Guinea

Northeast region retailer: Shoppers Village Card & Gift, Kennebunk, Maine

Charity selected: Animal Welfare Society

Southeast region retailer: Parsons – Cumming, Cumming, Georgia

Charity selected: Partners for Care, educational and medical support for Kenyan kids
