Designer Greetings acquires Palm Press Greeting Cards
Palm Press was founded in 1980 by Liz Bordow and publishes a collection of photographs in a high-quality but affordable format. Steven Gimbelman, president and CEO of Designer Greetings, said Palm Press made their mark by sourcing renowned, distinctive photographers from around the globe and Designer Greetings will continue that legacy.
“Liz Bordow built an incredible company, starting in her house in 1980. Palm Press is now one of the leading photographic greeting card companies in the world. We look forward to building upon the success that Liz forged. Palm Press is a welcome addition to Designer Greetings’ expansive photographic card lines,” said Gimbelman.
The Palm Press acquisition marks the twelfth one for Designer Greetings since 2006. Others include: Card$mart, Glitterwrap, Red Farm Studio, Royal Greetings, enGreet, Treasure Greetings, Mike’s Distributing, The Madison Park Group, Northern Exposure, V & M Sales and Kristin Michaels Greetings.
