DMC kicks off fall buying season
DALLAS – Dallas Market Center, the world’s largest wholesale merchandise resource, today announced the launch of the fall buying season at the market center. The market center offers First Monday & Tuesday Mini-Markets held on the first Monday & Tuesday of non-market months. The upcoming mini-markets will be held October 6–7, 2008 and November 3-4, 2008.
The First Monday & Tuesday Mini-Markets offer buyers the chance to place fill-in orders or make last minute inventory changes prior to the holiday season. More than 70 percent of the gift and decorative accessories showrooms participate in the First Monday & Tuesday program.
In addition to the wide range of buying opportunities many showrooms will be offering show specials during the October and November First Monday & Tuesday mini-markets. In November, Lloyd Princeton, founder and principal consultant of Design Management Company, will be a featured speaker of the Design Lecture Series. Princeton will lend his unique business perspective on where the design industry is headed on Monday, November 3rd from 11 a.m. to noon in the World Trade Center 9065. A luncheon will follow the lecture at noon on the World Trade Center 9th floor atrium.
