Children’s boutique is latest retailer to open downtown
Pascagoula, MS — Emmy Jack’s, a children’s boutique, is the latest business to open up in the Downtown Plaza in Pascagoula.
Owner LaLinda Grace has been in the retail business for more than 10 years, but this is her first store.
“I have always wanted to own some sort of boutique and I really saw that there was a need for one here in Pascagoula. I couldn’t see why people would need to make the drive out of town to purchase the things that I could sell here and keep the money in our city,” Grace said.
Emmy Jack’s, decorated with bright pink, green and white colors, is named after two of Grace’s children — Emersyn “Emmy” Michelle and Caydn “Jack.”
The boutique offers childrens’ apparel from newborns to size 8 for girls and boys, along with baby items and even a maternity section. They carry bibs, backpacks, messenger bags, lunch sacks, stylish diaper bags, a vast selection of hair accessories, plus a lot more items.
Also available is a wide selection of toys, gifts and novelty items such as the Binkee Bungee, which is a pacifier holder in a tiny stainless steel bucket. Some of the name brands offered in the store are by such designers as Ed Hardy, No Added Sugar, Juicy Couture, 2Chix, Knuckle Heads, Fleurville, and Petunia Pickle Bottom.
