There was a real buzz at The Little Barn Gift Shop as customers pampered themselves with mini facials, hand massages and even a little touch of reflexology.

The treats were on offer as the shop’s proprietor Sue Foley celebrated the 18th anniversary of her online business called The Essential Oil Company, and the fourth year of running her shop at Scrapps Hill Farm, Worting, beside the Manydown Farm Shop.

Customers were also able to enjoy home-made cakes, clotted cream scones, tea and even bucks-fizz, along with a tombola raising more than £300 for St Michael’s Hospice.

Sue also took the opportunity to launch a range of Neal’s Yard beauty products offering samples to customers.

Despite the tough times many retailers are currently facing, both sides of Sue’s business are faring well.
