Fans flock to Rangers Ballpark gift shop for last-minute shopping
Arlington, TX – Rangers fans waited anxiously this morning for the sign at the ballpark gift shop to flip from “closed” to “open.”
When it did, they swarmed into the Majestic Grand Slam Gift Shop in Arlington, eagerly snapping up Rangers jerseys, T-shirts and other paraphernalia.
Hours before the Rangers face the Giants in Game 1 of the World Series in San Francisco, eager fans were still seeking out their Rangers red.
“I’m going to buy shirts, caps for my grandchildren and for myself,” said Jose Martinez. “I got old Rangers drab but … I’ve come to get some new stuff today.”
