FINDS Dallas Temp Show: First Market of Summer Presents New Categories & Key Lines
Dallas Market Center today announced that the FINDS Dallas Temp Show being held June 21-24 (staggered opening and closing dates) will showcase new categories and key products during the first market of the summer. The largest FINDS show since 2008 continues to grow year after year.
Nearly 500,000 square feet of the latest products are presented in FINDS in the following categories: Bath & Body, Cash & Carry, Christmas & Floral, Collegiate & Souvenir, Design, Fashion, Foodie (new category), French Market (new category), Furniture, Garden & Outdoor, Gift, Home & Hill Country, Kids, Paper & Party, Red Haute, Table & Houseware (new category) and Vintage Home.
“FINDS offers buyers fresh products in more categories than ever before this June,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center. “Our team listens to our buyers’ needs and has delivered with Foodie FINDS and Table & Houseware FINDS; plus the marketplace will continue to offer a range of vintage products throughout the show.”
To celebrate the growing resources, Dallas Market Center will offer buyers a complimentary continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday during the FINDS Dallas Temp Show beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the World Trade Center (WTC) 13th floor. The complimentary breakfast is available on a first come, first served basis.
Foodie FINDS, debuting on the WTC 12th floor, will welcome Candy Bouquet, Country Home Creations, Two Girls Toffery and Wild Hibiscus Flower Company. Table & Houseware FINDS also on the 12th floor will present Bella Vita, Handle with Care, Lidia’s Polish Pottery, LS Arts and Patricia Spratt.
Vintage Home FINDS located in Market Hall (North Hall) will showcase A Feathered Nest, Antique Maps & Works on Paper, Antiques & Linen, Fluff, J. Hill Designs, Old World Antieks, Peter Sardelis and Rubbish/Sweet Talk. Other vintage lines can be found in French Market FINDS near Cash & Carry FINDS in Market Hall (Main Hall) including Frayed Flower, Funky Junky, Little Heart, Mixing Whimsy, Moose Pablos, Orange Box Jewelry, Smith Salvage, Tara Gasparian, The Lost Highway and Tinsel Trading. Pure West among many others will show as part of Cash & Carry FINDS. Also, in Market Hall (North Hall) are lines presented in Furniture FINDS including Casa Bonita, Coast to Coast and Love That Door.
The WTC 12th floor will offer a range of resources including: BZB, Barclay, Icy Craft, Salzburg Creations, Inc. in Christmas & Floral FINDS; Innovative Adhesives and Scribbles N’ Such in Collegiate & Souvenir FINDS; Forever Garden, Hi-Line Gift, Imports Décor and Spoontiques in Garden & Outdoor FINDS; Dynasty Gallery, History & Heraldry, Meissenburg Designs and Mulberry Studios in Gift FINDS; Ann Page, Viva Greetings and Words & Watercolors in Paper & Party FINDS; Be You Be True, Groovy Signs and Sara Kety in Kids FINDS; and much more.
The WTC 13th floor will feature: Boite A Savon, Country Memories, Essential Arts, Evergreen Naturals, Grandma’s Secret Spot Remover, Heartland Fragrance, Jayne Niemi Australia, Karen Luu, Legit Products, Scandalous Candles, Showa Flops, Skin Salvy, Skini and The Soap Counter in Bath & Body FINDS; A Fashion Group, Alexis, Connie’s Moonlight, Design Todays, Faulette, Hat Stack, Jeanne Simmons, Julio Designs, Just Dotty, Kathmandu, Pink Pewter, Vida Dulce by Kristen and Zad in Fashion FINDS; Anna Balkan, BB Becker, Bootglams, Ceek Jewelry, Karine Sultan, M Elizabeth, Maya J, My Bag, Quick Clip Belts, Robin & Leigh, Seeds Not Beads, The Pearl Girls and Z&L Europe in Red Haute FINDS; as well as other hot lines. Home & Hill Country FINDS on the WTC 6th floor near permanent home resources will present Artistic Reflections, Carol Braden, Cindy Fields Design, Crown Drapery, Diamond Head Upholstery Tack, Foreign Affair Intl., Intriguing Lamps & Lighting, Little Bales of Cotton, Old World Antieks, Pillow Bar, Queen Bee, Rustics, Sofia’s Rustic Furniture, Symphony Illumination as well as other lines.
Design FINDS will once again join the Trade Mart on the 1st floor including: Aesthetic Movement, Dammit Dolls, Domistyle, East of India, Fresco Products, Olivia Riegel, Orrefors Kosta Boda, Pulvermacher, Rewined, Tiffany’s Tools, Toss Designs, Trowbridge Gallery, Vance Kitira International and others. The category has doubled in size since the June 2011 show and continues to grow.
Temporary exhibitors will have special designation on their booth signage if their product is Made in the U.S.A. and/or handmade. Also, those that are members of GoTexan will also be noted. Companies that engage in Facebook, Twitter and/or Pinterest will have a designation so buyers can connect with them via social media.
On Friday, June 22 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. enjoy beer, wine and tasty treats during the Vintage Home FINDS Market Mixer on The Lawn at Market Hall. Dallas-based Somebody’s Darling will entertain the crowd as they shop the unique and antiqued vintage home lines.
