Fine Lines Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary

Fine Lines, the leading representative of gift, fashion and home décor in the Western U.S., is pleased to announce its 25th Anniversary. Fine Lines will host the celebration during the LA Mart’s Summer GALLA Market at a cocktail party July 17, 2014.

“It’s hard to believe we’ve been in business for 25 years. The time’s gone by so fast,” says Matthew Katzenson, CEO of Fine Lines. “We started in 1989 selling t-shirts and stationery in an 8 feet by 10 feet convention center booth.” The company has grown building relationships with over 50 manufacturers and expanding their sales force from 3 to 23 reps across the Western U.S.

“I’m most proud of our team,” says Katzenson. “We have account managers and employees that go back 20 years. Their expertise and the stability this creates have kept us growing and evolving with the industry. The team’s been the cornerstone of our longevity.”

Katzenson also attributes their success to working hard to develop strong relationships with their retail partners, providing excellent customer service and integrating the latest technologies.

“We’ve always been computerized on the back-end of the business. This was a great decision from the start. The move from handwriting and processing orders to electronically creating and transmitting them has been the singular advancement that’s enabled us to experience growth.”

Today Fine Lines is headquartered at the LA Mart with over 12,000 square feet of showroom space. A 9,000 square feet showroom was recently added in Las Vegas.
