GHTA announces winner of the Chad Corzine Young Gift and Home Executive Award

Gift and Home Trade Association [GHTA], the industry’s leading non-profit trade association, is pleased to announce that Chelsea Peabody Bohannon of International Market Centers, has been named as the winner of the second annual Chad Corzine Young Gift and Home Executive Award.

Chelsea Peabody Bohannon, APR is the Senior Public Relations Manager at International Market Centers (IMC), responsible for media relations and communications for its flagship gift, home décor and furnishings trade show portfolio of Atlanta Market, High Point Market and Las Vegas Market. Prior to her work with IMC, Bohannon worked in strategic communications in Charleston, South Carolina for Spoleto Festival USA and multiple hospitality groups.

Bohannon is a cum laude graduate of Elon University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and was a Journalism and Communications Fellow. She earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2018. She was named a Gift + Stationery 40 Under 40 by Gift Shop Plus and Stationery Trends magazines in 2021. Bohannon is active in the non-profit community. She serves as Chair of the Annual Conference and Personal Development Committees of the Public Relations Society (PRSA) Georgia Chapter and as a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Atlanta. Previously, she served on the Leadership Board of the Elon University Young Alumni Council, the Elon University Atlanta Alumni Board, the Membership Council of the Junior League of Atlanta and the Spoleto SCENE Board of Directors. Bohannon lives in Decatur, Georgia with her husband Brad and their two rescue dogs. When she is not working a Market, Bohannon can be found cooking and baking in her kitchen, traveling or on a hike.

The Chad Corzine Young Gift & Home Executive Award, in honor of the industry’s dear friend Chad Corzine who passed away in May 2021, recognizes an up and coming executive in the industry who is under the age of 35 with a passion for this industry and their business. Chelsea Peabody Bohannon was announced as the winner during the 2022 GHTA Annual Conference on September 27 in Tampa, FL.

The Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA) was formed in 2000, as the gift and home industry’s non-profit professional trade association. The Association was designed to help and encourage vendors, sales agencies, industry affiliates and retailers to work together, improving relationships and making business better by providing members with the opportunity to exchange ideas and network with industry leaders. Essentially, the GHTA is a place for members to connect, to learn, and to contribute. The Gift & Home Trade Association creates a national forum connecting industry leaders in their pursuit of ideas, innovations, and best practices to advance business progress.
