Gift Shop on Broad Street Opens its Doors
Selma, AL – It has always been Kimberly Williams’ dream to open her own gift shop in Selma and Friday morning, with the snip of a bright yellow ribbon, her dream came true.
Williams’ store, Second Hand Treasures & Gift Shop, located at 2425 Broad St., officially opened its doors Friday. The gift shop offers an array of items and services including fresh-cut flowers, jewelry, gift baskets and a notary service.
Williams said the dream of owning her own gift shop began 15 years ago when her mother gave her the idea to take her crafty hobbies to the next level.
“It has always been my vision to do this, all I needed was a location,” Williams said. “I started off going to markets and selling to various places — I’m very crafty.”
