Gourmet Housewares show makes a splash with new marketing campaign
(White Plains, NY) — Showcasing the most elite in the gourmet products industry for 33 years, the Gourmet Housewares Show is unveiling a fresh and upbeat marketing campaign to reflect the remarkable energy the 2009 show has embodied with the timing, location and strategic transformations.
The Gourmet Housewares Show advertising agency, Eric Mower Associates, created a cutting-edge campaign to capture the essence of the re-positioned Show in San Francisco. The eye-catching graphics and tongue-in-cheek copy will be seen in all marketing communications including advertisements, direct mail, e-communications and Show website– all scheduled to launch in early November. In addition, on-sight signage, decor and displays will carry through the theme to further reinforce the revitalized direction of the Show.
The new campaign mirrors the high-end, design-forward objectives that the Gourmet Housewares Show is looking to achieve for its return to San Francisco next August 8-10, 2009 at the Moscone Center. The innovative use of vibrant, trendy colors of fuchsia, turquoise, topaz and emrald, in hip tie-dyed patterns, is sure to attract more design-progressive, top of the line companies from both the vendor and retail communities.
Penny Sikalis, GLM Vice President and Show Manager, is excited about the Shows new strategic direction saying, “With tremendously positive feedback from retailers, vendors and the industry-at-large about the re-timing and re-location of the Gourmet Housewares Show, we feel the new marketing campaign will only add to the drive of the overall Show.”
Additional programming, celebrity appearances, and other updates concerning the 2009 Show will be announced shortly. Visit www.thegourmetshow.com after November 1st for more detailed information.
