Grove Arcade Boutique Owner Wants Asheville’s Women to SparkleBy Carol MotsingerCitizen-Times.com

Asheville, NC – Denise Page’s almost year-old accessories and decor store in the Grove Arcade, Vaquera, is all about bringing some Southwest sparkle to Asheville.

But almost five decades ago, it was Asheville that sparked Page’s lifelong passion for design.

“I grew up in Hickory, and my mother would bring me to Asheville to see the Biltmore Estate,” she said. “The first time was in second grade, and that was my first exposure to beautiful architecture. A few years later, my neighbor was an interior designer … and between (getting to know her) and seeing the Biltmore Estate, I knew I wanted to do something with architecture.”
