HandCrafting Justice Pottery Selected for Display by Sustainability

HandCrafting Justice is honored to be selected to display at the NYIGF SustainAbility project, which is a special exhibit and educational series showcasing “green” gift and home products and business practices during the exhibition.

Our selected piece, the Sunflower Vase, is made by the artisans at Isan Pottery in Nongkhai, Thailand. The flower etching and painting is all done by hand, showcasing the skills of the talented potters.

The SustainAbility: design for a better world® display is a curated exhibit of global gift and home industry suppliers whose products or production processes are eco-friendly, or companies whose business practices are socially responsible, philanthropic or fair trade oriented.

HandCrafting Justice provides access to fair trade markets that empower enterprising women in the developing world to lift themselves out of poverty through the creation of unique handmade goods.

Please see our design displayed on the main floor of the Javits Center during the NYIGF, or stop by our booth located at General Gifts 7072.
