Pocomoke City, MD – Brian Jones says if you’ve been inside one country store, you’ve seen them all. And that’s what he and his wife are trying to avoid with the re-opening of Heart ‘n’ Home in Pocomoke City.

“It’s a gift store, and everything you want from A to Z, hopefully we’ll have,” he said. “That’s our tag line: ‘A little bit of country and a lot more.’ There’s something here for everybody.”

Jones, a longtime Sysco employee, and his wife Angie, a real estate agent, had wanted to open their own business in the area.

“She’s been wanting to get into this more than anything,” he said. They took over the 3,000 square foot store at its Ocean Highway location over the summer, and literally set up shop in an adjacent storefront, one about half the size.
