Artisan studio designs including “Dandelion,” “Poppy Flower,” “Bird of Paradise” and “Verdi Gulls” celebrate the many wonders of the world’s environment.
“Our nature-themed pieces bring the splendor of the outdoors to indoor surroundings,” Shilling says.
Each of the three flower designs is a unique two-piece set that includes a clever wall vase into which a single stem of the flower is placed. Pieces are crafted of hand-painted steel: the puff on “Dandelion” has a neutral off-white shade; the “Bird of Paradise” bloom shows off vivid shades of orange and bluish purple; and the “Poppy Flower” blossoms with reddish-orange petals. Finished in a patina green shade, “Verdi Gulls” is a clean, linear representation of a grouping of seagulls that forms a natural “V” shape. To extend the company’s selection of back-to-nature items, artisan studio also offers designs featuring bamboo, reeds, elm trees, banana palms, bonsai plants and more.
Toned to Perfection
Whether consumers have selected warm or cool color palettes for their homes and offices, artisan studio has the ideal metal sculptures for both environments. Retail prices for sculptures in artisan studio’s Summer 2008 collection range from $90 to $250.
