Home Décor collection launches in IHFC highlight October High Point Market

Fall High Point Market, running October 22-26, 2016, ushers in a greater breadth and depth of products, resources and new and expanded showrooms, among current tenants in the home décor and accessory category on floors 2, 3 and 4 in the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC).

Be the first to see Kirk Nix’s new furniture collection with his exclusive High Point launch for Palecek (D202). It’s the designer and architect’s first-ever collaboration of this kind. Meet Lillian August at Wendover Art Group (C215) on Sunday October 23 at 4 p.m. and get a behind-the-scenes perspective on her new collection. Howard Elliott is unveiling a completely new look for their showroom (H224) with new resources and market exclusives. Look for exciting new collections at the Momeni showroom (G382) from celebrity husband and wife design duo Cortney and Robert Novogratz as well as new additions Sagebrook Home (H324) and new to the US market Cobra Art (D301). Galaxy Home joins the fourth floor in a new, permanent space (M438), showcasing a broader array of resources.

“Exclusive launches, showroom expansions and major renewals throughout home décor are a strong indication of the health of our industry,” said Lee Hershberg, vice president of Home Décor for International Market Centers (IMC). “As we continue to enhance the shopping experience by bringing like-minded tenants together through strategic showroom moves and expansions, the buyer experience becomes easier, more efficient and meaningful, offering an opportunity to shop a greater breadth and depth of products and resources among contiguous home décor and accessory floors.”

The conveniently located IHFC Accessory floors 2, 3 and 4 are devoted solely to the accessory category, including accent furniture, rugs, lighting, wall décor, floral, decorative accessories and more, and cover the Design, Commerce, Hamilton, Wrenn and Green Wings of IHFC, in addition to the fourth floor of the Main Wing. Exclusive market introductions in April include Revelation from Uttermost – with High Point as the launch point for their complete collection in their 28,000 square-foot showroom – among others, along with a host of notable changes to the IHFC floors.
