“HOT” Gifts for Christmas

Chico Chihuahua is seeking distributors to its new line of “hot” gifts this Christmas.

The popular Mexican Internet Cartoon Character Chico Chihuahua, launched last year in English and Spanish with animated e-cards, daily comics and more, has expanded its line of gift products to jewelry. Chico Chihuahua seeking distributors for it´s innovative products, directly from the South to warm up everyones Christmas.

The whole line is inspired in the crazy and colorful cartoon Character Chico Chihuahua with very “hot” motifs. The jewelry line is fun with necklaces and charms in shape of Jalapeños, Piñatas, cactuses and Chico’s not so best friend La Pulga.They also have bracelets and key chains with little jalapeños and cactuses.

Other products in the line include Greeting Cards, Jalapeño cushions, fabric pencil cases, mini cushions with messages, T-shirts in cans, plush toys, bags, beach bags, Piñata cushions and more

Thanks to its success among young kids and teens, the gift line is expanding really fast. The first products to appear on the retail market were souvenirs for tourists in specialty shops in Cancun and Riviera Maya. “Tourists loved it and that showed us the potential of our concept to become a success not only in Mexico but in international markets.” Said Blanca Ruiz, creator of Chico Chihuahua.

“Our concept is solid, different, funny and very colorful. All our products reflect Chico Chihuahua irreverence and kids just love it!” Said Blanca Ruiz, creator of Chico Chihuahua concept.

Chico Chihuahua is a Chihuahua dog, funny, talkative and with no common sense at all. He lives his daily live with La Pulga, a flea that lives in his fur, who is the opposite to Chico, snobby, cultured and loves to be alone.

“We are taking measurable steps to build things up, we are a growing business with plenty of innovative ideas in the pipeline, so I am sure, there is more to come from us, and near future plans include licensing our brand in key categories”, added Ruiz.

Chico Chihuahua is looking for distributors in the US with experience in specialty gift shops.
