IMC names sales manager for The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas

International Market Centers (IMC) has hired Kaela Simeonoff as sales manager for The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas, a $90 million, 315,000-square-foot exposition center set to open in July 2020, during IMC’s semi-annual Las Vegas Market. She will report directly to Jennifer Muna, general manager of The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas.

“Kaela is a talented industry professional with a strong background in both the hospitality sales and services industry here in Las Vegas,” said Muna. “I’m looking forward to leveraging her experience and contacts as The Expo opens in July 2020.”

As sales manager, Simeonoff will be responsible for leasing The Expo’s 194,785 gross square feet of exhibit space and World Market Center Las Vegas’ special event and meeting space. The Expo offers proximity to more than 7,000 hotel rooms in downtown Las Vegas and nearby access to an additional 140,000+ rooms on the Las Vegas Strip.

Simeonoff joins IMC after seven years with MGM Resorts International, where she held numerous positions in convention, executive meetings and catering sales for several properties. She has a degree in psychology from the College of Southern Nevada.
