Inspirational Meets Trendy in New Abbey Press Line
Featuring bright floral and paisley designs, the new “Prayerfully Yours” line from Abbey Press lends inspirational giftware a fresh, updated look. The canvas-wrapped wood plaques and crosses are the latest creations of versatile artist Amie Jones and inspirational poet Lisa O. Engelhardt.
Scheduled for Spring 2012 introduction, the six colorful designs with prayerful sentiments offer customers attractively priced keepsake gifts geared to Mother, Grandmother and Friend. The plaques and crosses retail for $16 and $12, respectively.
Jones, lead senior art manager at Abbey Press, says she drew inspiration for the whimsical paisley and posy artwork from “the vibrant hues and prints so popular in the marketplace today. I wanted to pick patterns that match the happy attributes described in the plaque sentiments.” Jones says she feels “these designs show that faith and fun can definitely be compatible.”
Each plaque features a two-part blessing: heartwarming praise for the special woman’s treasured traits, along with a prayer that God will grace her with joy, peace and His all-embracing love.
“These beautiful pieces will make wonderful additions to that special nook where a woman displays her cherished keepsakes,” notes Engelhardt, who is editorial director for Abbey Press. “Our customers will find these products to be appealing gifts for the moms, grandmas and friends so close to their hearts and so important in their lives.”
