Kravet—a fabrics, furniture, wall coverings, trimmings, carpets and accessories distributor—is currently planning construction of a 4,684-square-foot showroom on the first floor of Building A, space A-124, and will debut its broad assortment of offerings to designers starting at the Summer 2013 Las Vegas Market.

“I am thrilled to expand the distribution of Kravet and its brands into such a powerful market and design center,” said Kravet Inc. president Cary Kravet. “We can now more aggressively and consistently pursue residential, hospitality and commercial opportunities in an exciting and thriving region.”

Kravet Inc. owns Kravet, Lee Jofa, Groundworks and GP & J Baker, all high end fabric houses that specialize in style, luxury and exceptional design. In 2011, Kravet Inc. acquired Brunschwig & Fils, a prestigious decorative house founded in 1900 that shares Kravet and Lee Jofa’s legacy of international design, commitment to quality, attention to detail and superb craftsmanship. All of these brands will be represented in the Kravet showroom at the LVDC.

“Kravet is the premier resource and leader in the decorative fabric industry including furniture and floor coverings, and we are incredibly excited to bring them to Las Vegas Design Center,” said Dorothy Belshaw, President of Gift+Home for International Market Centers, parent company for LVDC. “Their presentation of fashion-forward designs and superior quality elevates LVDC to new heights and further establishes the design center as a one-stop design resource for the region. Without doubt, Kravet will infuse a fresh, relevant and compelling array of decorative fabric options for a wide range of interiors projects.”
