Kubit2me Presents the Gift of Communication
Kubit2me’s inaugural appearance at the July 2008 Gift & Home Furnishings Market at the L.A. Mart will showcase its innovative line of “toss it to me” self expression games.
Gaining national grass roots support from parents, child development specialists and educators alike, Kubit2me games will be displayed by rep group Toyology in their L.A. Mart showroom, Suite 446, July 15-21.
The three editions of Kubit2me games (Lil’ Scholars, Truth or Dare and Now You’re Talkin’) are designed to entertain all ages and demographics as well as encourage positive social interaction, trust and empathy. Its fun and fuzzy cube design connects kids & adults through socially-charged, small or large group games that actually toss thought-provoking, and sometimes silly, questions from player to player.
Vanessa Van Petten, author and creator of OnTeensToday.com, plays the Truth or Dare edition with her teen clients and the families she coaches. “I really love to engage youth in intelligent conversations about values, ideals and goals. A lot of these questions get these ideas out in the open,” she said.
Kubit2me, Inc. President Mary Kay Russell is finding that tweens, teens, parents, educators and professionals alike have an overwhelmingly positive response.
“As a working mother of preteen and teenage boys, it’s a challenge to find the time to have meaningful conversations with my kids, and more of a challenge to get them to open up,” Gail Wajda said. “When we played Kubit2me Now You’re Talkin’, we all really listened to each other. Not only did we have a blast playing this game, but we also learned some interesting things about each other!”
Lil’ Scholars (ages 3+) is an educational game designed to help preschoolers and kindergartners get a jump start on their basic language and math skills. Truth or Dare (ages 8+) is a provocative and hilarious spin-off to the classic sleepover party game made just for girls. Now You’re Talkin’ (ages 10+) is a high-energy game of self-expression and social interaction for the family, in which questions focus on beliefs, opinions, relationships and memories.
