LA Mart to play host to new trade show, co-locate during winter market

LA Mart, one of the West Coast’s largest resource for gift, home, and design products, will showcase more than 100 Los Angeles-based exhibitors specializing in eco-friendly, solar-powered, vegan, recycled, and other green merchandise at Conscious Biz LA, a brand new trade show to debut in LA Mart’s state-of-the-art second floor temporary exhibit space, Friday, Jan. 29 through Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016.

Produced by Curated Events, Conscious Biz LA has been purposely scheduled to run concurrently with the major winter 2016 Los Angeles Gift & Home Market held at LA Mart and the LAMKT (formerly known as the California Gift Show). “Los Angeles and California have always been at the forefront of promoting a healthy, earth-friendly lifestyle, and we are delighted to bring our show attendees this dynamic new collection of highly marketable, uniquely green products including innovative home décor, accessories, beauty/spa, gourmet, toys, jewelry, and fashion accessories from up-and-coming vendors,” said LA Mart Sr. Vice President and General Manager, Frank Joens. “We are confident that Conscious Biz LA’s distinctive and exclusive exhibitors and merchandise will be an ideal compliment to the hundreds of products which are only seen at the LA Mart and not found in any other markets serving the West Coast and Western states.”

Wayne Fernandez, Executive Director, Curated Events concurs: “Recent studies show that nearly four in ten Americans now say they are dedicated to buying green products and services, which equates to nearly 93 million potential customers. A core purpose of Conscious Biz LA is to serve this ever-growing green consumer population in order to reinforce the upward trajectory of green production and consumption. With this in mind, booth spaces have been priced at an extremely affordable rate to encourage startups, independent artisans and non-profits to exhibit their wares. We know that LA Mart’s 60,000 square foot delete facility will provide a beautiful, lively, highly accessible creative environment for retailers to discover products to freshen their stores and please their customers.”

For buyer convenience, Conscious Biz LA will share a common buyer’s badge for retailers attending the winter 2016 Los Angeles Gift & Home Market, held at both the LA Mart and the LAMKT show at the nearby LA Convention Center. Handy shuttle buses will run between the venues during the entire run of the market.
