LA Mart Welcomes New Showroom Openings for the July Show
Los Angeles, CA – L.A. Mart® is proud to announce a strong start to 2010 with new leasing activity. Over 12 new showroom leases have been signed at the L.A. Mart since January. The most recent showroom-partners since the start of 2010 have confirmed their confidence in both L.A. Mart as the anchor to the gift and home industry and in the downtown market’s vitality with long-term lease commitments.
Terrific complements to the impressive names already housed in permanent showrooms, L.A. Mart has recently signed new leases this year with gift showrooms Creative Gifts International, Designs Combined, Inc., Huang Acrylic, Inc., F.E.M. Sales, Inc./Transpac Imports, Art on Tiles, and Kathleen Milne Company. Additionally, OneCoast has expanded their location on the 4th floor of the building.
The L.A. Mart has added over 31,000-square-feet of new gift and home offerings to serve the Southern California retail community since the beginning of the year.
Creative Gifts International has the distinction of being an MMPI National Showroom Partner. Tenants in this prestigious program have showrooms in the L.A. Mart, the Chicago Merchandise Mart and 7 West in New York.
The positive momentum in California’s economy is proving to be a catalyst for improved permanent and temporary leasing activities, as well as buyer confidence, market and daily attendance. The California Gift Show itself has seen strong growth in numbers of attendees, number of orders written and size of orders written.
