Lilypad to provide unique gift itemsBy Erin C. HevernWahpetonDailyNews.com

The Lilypad, A Unique Boutique, owned by Cindy Kressin, has an assortment of products for little ones but will be making a big entrance during it’s grand opening in Breckenridge May 1.

The new boutique is located in the old Breckenridge style shop at 117 N. 5th St. and will be a place for residents to shop for one-of-a-kind items for babies, toddlers, teenagers and adults. They can be for yourself or in the form of a gift, but no matter what, Kressin said many of the items are ones she hasn’t seen anywhere else in the city.

Kressin carries lines that many bigger cities have and because higher gas prices have been a burden. She hopes offering unique, quality lines will keep shoppers in the area.”I’m new to this and I really want to be here for the community,” said Kressin.

The inventory at The Lilypad at first started as an eBay store and after time the items started to accumulate and take over her home.

“My intention was to find a place to store my products,” said Kressin. “But then a friend suggested finding a store front where people in this area could shop.”
