Maude Specklebelly’s to Offer Unique Gift, Clothing Options
Monmouth, IL – The revitalization of Monmouth’s downtown district is currently priority No. 1 for many locally.
Part of the effort has consisted in the Shops of Monmouth Retail Business Competition, an event held at Monmouth College’s Fusion Theatre at the end of July that saw three prospective businesses walking away as winners.
Among those winners was Maude Specklebelly’s, a store guaranteed to be just as unique as its unusual name, according to owners and contest winners Jaime Ballard and Erin Elliott.
