National Stationery Show Launches New Marketing Campaign to Spark Fresh Vibe for 2009

White Plains, NY — The National Stationery Show® (NSS), North America’s leading marketplace for the social stationery industry, has launched a vibrant new marketing campaign reflective of the creative, high design atmosphere anticipated at the 2009 market, taking place May 17-20, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The new campaign, designed by advertising agency Eric Mower Associates, features fresh, trend-driven colors and captivating images conveying the diverse array of stationery and related products found at NSS.

“Our new marketing campaign truly reflects what this industry is all about – fashion, color, innovation, trends – with copywriting and images that underscore the importance of the National Stationery Show,” said Patti Stracher, show manager. “We hope it will remind exhibitors and buyers that the National Stationery Show is the singular, essential market for opportunity and serious business.”

Supporting the new marketing campaign is the recent launch of the new National Stationery Show website at www.nationalstationeryshow.com – the first reveal of the new look and feel of the Show. In addition to the new look, website visitors will experience enhanced navigation and additional resources. Among the new resources is the Online Catalog Gallery, a visual product finder powered by Whereoware’s Active Merchandiser technology that allows Show attendees to preview the catalogs or brochures of participating NSS exhibitors. This new feature extends the buy/sell process and helps make it more efficient for both exhibitors and buyers before, during and after the Show.

To date, 34 exhibitors have confirmed their participation in the Online Catalog Gallery, therefore enhancing their pre-Show visibility to buyers by offering a sneak peak of their latest products. Participating companies include AccuCut, Angel Eyes Studio, B Designs, BeeTeeWorld LLC, Bella Ink Designs, Birchcraft Studios, Brush Dance, Canetti Design Group, Driscoll Designs, In Good Company, Jacki Paper, Joui International LLC, KatBlu Art & Design Studio, La Loupe, Letterary Press, May Arts, Mighty Bright, Milo Paper, MommyBlueprint, Nashie Notes, NobleWorks Inc., Old Tom Foolery, Olivia Riegel, Paperoot, Peppertree Design, Phoebe Du Puy Designs, Pomegranate Communications, PosePrints, Inc., Prime Arts Limited, Whimsy Press, One Curly Girl, Sara Monica, Feel Good Photos and Product Superior Ltd.

The 63rd annual National Stationery Show will run Sunday, May 17, through Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The Show will feature approximately 1,100 exhibiting companies and attract some 14,000 attendees. It will once again collocate with The Supply Side®, an annual exposition featuring suppliers to the social stationery, giftware and graphic arts industries; SURTEX®, North America’s premier international trade show for selling and licensing art and design; and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair® (ICFF®), North America’s singular showcase for contemporary design.
