East Dundee, IL – Another bar will be joining the ranks of the village’s downtown businesses.

But this will be a different kind of watering hole.

The Sweet Pop Fizz Candy Bar, set to open in early April on River Street, will offer pastries and truffles, traditional and exotic flavored popcorn, candied dessert apples, local artisan chocolates, the area’s largest collection of novelty bottled soda, house-made seltzer waters and Italian sodas, select wine, local and specialty beer, and coffee, owners said.
