New Gift Shop Opens In Dunbar Township
When Lillian Ronzio bought the house next to her business she wasn’t sure what she would do with it.
But since it shared a driveway with The Natural Way, located on Route 119, which she owns, she felt that she didn’t have a choice.
For several years the house sat unoccupied.
Ronzio considered several ideas that could be associated with The Natural Way that offers natural remedies, herbs and holistic healing products.
“I considered a spa-type atmosphere with massage and services in the natural healing sciences but then I thought about it some more and considered how much I like pretty things, for myself and for others. I like to surround myself with things that make my heart happy and so The Cottage at The Natural Way was created,” said Ronzio.
“I hand-pick all the merchandise for The Cottage, focusing on the unusual, rarely will shoppers here see items they’ve seen elsewhere in our area. I’ve been to a few trade shows for the gift shop industry and that has been quite a pleasurable experience,” said Ronzio.
Ronzio said on display are hand-blown glass necklaces, each one unique, and some jewelry with swarovski crystals.
“We have beautiful wrappings done by a doctor in Pittsburgh who relaxes by creating these one-of-a-kind pieces. They can be used for balancing and healing or they can simply bring the enjoyment of having such a lovely and unique piece. Some of our things have an earthy feel, some are from nature, people are drawn to the natural things,” she said.
