New High-End Greeting Card Lines Make a Big Impact

Salem, MA — Mind Art Studios launched its new line of greeting cards this week at the national stationary show in New York City. With orders being placed at the show from some of the largest retail outlets in the U.S., to upscale boutiques in Montreal, Canada the show was considered a huge success. “To prove this new concept of greeting cards, in the manner that we did at such a huge show, it’s a rather exciting time for us. It shows the range and flexibility that we have with our line of cards.” says owner Derek Thomas. “Our ability to create a card line for a buyer, with the look and feel of a specific retail outlet is a powerful tool. It’s powerful for our retailers, and for us.”

Mind Art Studios’ products range from simple leather and fabric covered greeting cards, to more sophisticated high-end cards. Their top of the line cards are extremely elegant. Adorned with Swarovski crystals or made with real woods like teak and mahogany, some are billed as the world’s most expensive greeting card.

“The timing to launch the new product line at the show was just right. We had Editor-in-Chief’s from industry magazines and creative directors from the biggest card companies in the world telling us how great our cards are. It meant a lot, and was truly the best part of the show for us.”

Thomas says that creating the signature lines for retailers and specific events is where the company gets its name from. “We started a few years back, doing cards for special events, weddings, and corporate greeting cards. I wasn’t much of an artist myself, but my lack of ability was never an issue. I would simply get a feel for what our customers wanted, or take a tour of a store. Then I’d see how the card should look in my mind, and then I’d turn it into a reality.”
