nora fleming launches product, philanthropic initiative

nora fleming launched its newest product and philanthropic initiative, “band together with nora fleming.”

The creation of the silicone bands is a brand-new vertical for the business. “band together with nora fleming” will partner with nine local non-profit organizations, with a portion of every purchase benefiting causes such as suicide prevention and mental health education, pediatric brain cancer, craniofacial and breast cancer research, underserved youth communities and more.

“The phrase ‘band together’ came to us naturally as we were working on this project,” said Nora Napientek, co-founder of nora fleming. “As we all know, it takes a village to really make a difference in this world and playing off the silicone rim/band, we just knew it was the right messaging for the new line. Let’s all work together to make something beautiful, each of us bringing our unique talents and passion for entertaining together to help causes that matter.”

nora fleming partnered with the following nonprofit organizations for the band together initiative: Totally Positive Productions, Face The Future Foundation, Foster Progress, Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, Open Books, Hope for the Day, The Ross K. MacNeill Foundation, Pickles Group, and A Silver Lining Foundation.

“The tagline, ‘chipping away at causes that matter,’ is a quick way to tell the customers that these initial bands work on the chip and dip platter, and with each purchase they are helping a very important cause,” Napientek said. “Nothing is more important to me than the chance to give back and to use our brand as a vehicle to not only bring joy, but to truly make a difference.”

The philanthropic endeavor and product will include nine colorways, all available in silicone, curated to fit with the nora fleming melamine chip and dip platter.

“This product gives nora fleming fans the luxury of adding color AND meaning to their table,” Napientek added. “Each color was specifically chosen to not only complement the nora fleming minis, but a specific charity topic. Color and giving. My two favorites.”

The bands will be available for purchase directly on norafleming.com beginning in August 2023.
