New Showroom, New Design Categories Headline Nova Fall 2007 High Point Market Introductions
Huntington Park, CA – To better showcase its growing collection of lifestyle offerings, NOVA Lighting will open a newly expanded and relocated showroom during the upcoming October 2007 High Point Furniture Market. Moving to IHFC Commerce Building Space C403, NOVA will unveil the latest additions to its new home accent and wall decor lines, as well as a record number of creative new lighting designs.
The new space will also showcase the latest innovations from Jon Gilmore Designs, Inc. and American Lamp Company, two companies recently acquired by NOVA. These designs now join the new home accent and wall decor lines NOVA unveiled in July of 2007.
“Our goal is to become the leading resource for medium priced, casual contemporary home decor,” explains Daniel Edelist, president, NOVA Lighting. “Our recent acquisitions and product line expansions have put us squarely on this path and we’re actively seeking other growth opportunities. We think our retail customers will be delighted with the new designs and trend directions they’ll see in our new space.”
Among the newest designs to be showcased in High Point include:
- The Ventana Illuminated Shelf (#10113 – left) is crafted of dark brown wood and elephantine parchment to offer a contemporary touch of color, texture and Asian influence to any room. Measuring 72″h x 34″w x 14″ d, the shelf uses 2 28W TF Fluorescent bulbs and has a suggested retail of $900. NOVA has successfully obtained a utility patent for its illuminated Screens and has a number of product extensions in development for this category.
- The Eclipse Illuminated Console Table (#10151-right) brings Wenge Ash wood and brushed nickel together with clear glass for a dramatic effect. Measuring 10″ in diameter, the cream shade completes the look. Table dimensions are 30″h x 48″w x 24″d and suggested retail -$650.
- Part of its new wall decor collection from Jon Gilmore Designs by Nova, the Connected Ovals Wall Mirror (#WMA-3668 left) promises to add an appealing accent to any room. Muted, interlocking metal rings surround mirror glass to create a stunning statement. Dimensions – 36″ x 68″. Suggested retail – $399.
- The Nova Screens (#0967 and #1967 right) offer an ideal room statement with their slender styling, soft lighting, brown woods, brushed nickel and cream fabric. The 30″ Table Lamp design takes a 17W T8 Fluorescent bulb while the 60″ Floor lamp uses a 28W T5 Fluorescent bulb. Suggested retail for the Table Lamp -$190 and the Floor Lamp-$330.
- The Ori Floor and Table Lamps (#10122 and 10123 right) create a sense of movement and flow with their retro contemporary curves and textured shades. Crafted of medium brown woods and brushed nickel with Flaxen Natte Shades, the 26″ Table Lamp measures 8″ x 5″ x 12″ V (top) and 5″ x 8″ x 8″ V (Bottom) while the 60″ Floor Lamp measures 8″ x 5″ x 22″V (top) and 5″ x 8″ x 14″ V (Bottom). Both designs feature a dimmer and use two 60W bulbs. Suggested retail for the Table Lamp -$190, Floor Lamp – $330.
- Another design from the Ventana collection, the Ventana 3-Light Pendant (#10102 left/top) measures 8″h x 34″w. Here, brushed nickel and brown woods frame elephantine parchment shades to create a casual, contemporary sense of elegance and style. The fixture uses three 40W bulbs and has a suggested retail of $338. The Ventana 6-Light Fixture (10103 left/below) measures 11″h x 33″ w and uses six 40W bulbs. Suggested retail for this design is $600.
- The new Ashtanga Floor Lamp (#1582 right) brings functional design together with sleek styling. Measuring 65″, the design features a dark brown metal base that contrasts nicely with its streamlined brushed nickel arm. A simple, white linen shade brings an air of sophisticated style. Featuring a dimmer, the lamp uses a 150 W bulb. Suggested retail -$300
