NSS Names 2010 Best New Product Award Winners
New York, NY — Seven National Stationery Show® (NSS) exhibitors were honored with Best New Product Awards on Opening Day, Sunday, May 16, 2010, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The coveted Awards are presented in seven categories and are considered a distinguished honor within the social stationery industry.
Winners of the 14th annual Best New Product Awards are:
Desk Accessories
Wooster & Prince Papers (Seattle, WA), for Desktop Notes, the perfect addition to any desktop, designed in patterns from the best-selling Wooster & Prince collections with each footed box containing 200 loose note sheets.
Lifestyle/Specialty Gift
Shannon Martin/Girl Designer (Seattle, WA), for Holiday Bath Salts, 6 ounces of sea salts blended with pure essential oils, packaged in a festive gift box.
Luxury
Cartesian Graphics (Long Island City, NY), for Vintage Print Fabric Blank Cards, handmade blank cards in 40 new fabrics, including florals, food prints, and the NYC subway map.

Judges for the 14th annual Best New Product Awards were Patricia Norins, Gift Shop; Caroline Kennedy, Gifts & Decorative Accessories; Dorothy Creamer, GREETINGS etc.; Kathy Krassner, Krassner Communications; Kim Warren, Party & Paper Retailer; and Sarah Schwartz, Stationery Trends. Winners – selected from 315 entries – were selected based on innovative product design or concept, how the product answers an industry need, aesthetic appeal, creative use of materials and innovative packaging.
