Precious Moments, Inc. to Distribute Ne’Qwa Art Collectio

As 2011 draws to a close, Precious Moments, Inc. announces that it has entered into a distribution arrangement with Ne’Qwa Art. This unique line of reverse painted glass ball ornaments provides a complement to PMI’s Pipka Collection and will be displayed alongside Precious Moments at all major shows, beginning in January 2012.

PMI acquired the award-winning Pipka Collection of Old World gifts and collectibles earlier in 2011. This was especially significant, because it represented the first time that PMI has included a non-Precious Moments line and Pipka is a perfect fit, according to PMI Executive Vice President Scott Bryson.

“It is a delight to work with this talented artist and to welcome Pipka into the PMI family,” said Bryson. “We have worked alongside Ne’Qwa for several years, and we are extremely proud to expand our relationship. We know our retailers will be as pleased as we are.”

Jim Sexton, Ne’Qwa President, echoed Bryson’s enthusiasm. “This is a very exciting time for our business. We have just added the beautiful artwork of Thomas Kinkade to our lineup of licensed artists. We will be showing the first introductions in the Precious Moments showroom during the Atlanta market.”

In addition to its line of hand painted ornaments, Ne’Qwa Art includes other decorative accessories for the home. Ne’Qwa is also a Precious Moments licensee.

To celebrate the addition of the Pipka and Ne’Qwa lines, retailers attending the Atlanta gift show will have the opportunity to meet Pipka and learn more about her remarkable Old World heritage. In addition, there will be a demonstration of the ancient painting technique that is used to create the Ne’Qwa Art collection.
