Roman’s Chairman Surprises Young Leukemia Victim with Dream Come True

Roman’s Chairman, Ron Jedlinski, continues to support and deliver ill children happiness on behalf of the Sunshine Foundation. This August was no exception; yet another young boy by the name of Kevin Cox-Loren receives the gift of his dreams.

Early on August 4th, 2011, a boy diagnosed with acute leukemia was surprised at his front door with a gift that could leave a permanent smile on any child’s face. This gift included a visit to Sunshine Foundation’s Dream Village, along with toys like a SpongeBob and Mickey Mouse doll. This special package allows Kevin and his family to go on a fantasy vacation to Disney World and other Florida theme parks for a week.

Ron was so delighted to present this package to a family so deserving on behalf of Sunshine. Roman’s Chairman, Ron Jedlinski stated, “Kevin was so excited, and his mother was so thankful for the opportunity to go to Florida. This young child received chemotherapy every two weeks, but when the “Dream” package was presented, you wouldn’t have known that he was ill. To think that the Sunshine Foundation presents gifts like this for over 30,000 children is a remarkable accomplishment.” Kevin and his family now await their “dream” journey to sunny Florida scheduled for early September.
